Hesh, I actually have some follized mammoth bone--not ivory. Its as dense as anytihg can be and its very dark brown. I can probably get some smaller pieces cheap.

What more is there to say?

Hesh, I wish I lived closer to Michigan, it would be so neat to hear that guitar in person.

So, how does it sound?
Tim thanks for the offer to help with a Tiger pick guard. After I see how the Tor-Tis one looks I might ask for your help. Tiger is SO beautiful that it really pulls your eye so I am trying to use it sparingly now.
I think Tor-Tis will look great on this.

Great job. Great looking guitar.

Seriously. I have not the lexicon to adequately explain the "heh!" within!

Wow...

Hesh, thanks for the extra photos!
I love that rosette.
Here's another (late) vote against a clear guard.
I used a clear guard on a black top once, and what ended up visible were the colors in the plastic. Either that, or it was really refracting the light, so that there was an annoying green/pink "flash" from the pickguard.
I might go for a black guard, for the simple reason of not detracting from that rosette.
Did I tell you I like that rosette?

Hey bro, you've been playing this one for more than the "usual" 20 minutes, that is a good sign, means that you're finally satisfied with one of your accomplishments and i'm really proud of you and so can you be of yourself, i'm just jealous, i'd so want to play that guitar now!
